Sesame Crusted Tuna | Olah Momma!
Ingredients
1 Pound tuna 2 Tablespoon olive oil 1 Tablespoon sesame seeds (more if desired) 1⁄2 Teaspoon smoked paprika (plain paprika is okay to use as a substitute)
Ounce salt and pepper (to taste) Instructions
Rinse tuna, then using a clean tissue paper, pat dry (but not too dry).
Season the fish with smoked paprika, pepper and salt; and then sprinkle with sesame seeds both sides, evenly spreading them on the surface of the meat.
Pour oil on a non-stick pan and heat medium to high. When oil is ready (splatters with a little spritz of water), sear the tuna for 1 to 2 minutes each side. One minute only if you’d like it more raw in the middle.
Voila, serve warm with sauce. Great as an appetizer or served over steamed rice.
