Steamed Codfish With Crispy Fried Soybean Crumbs

This recipe I get it from All About Steaming Recipe.

Ingredients:
1 piece cod fish (about 200g)
50g crispy fried soybean crumbs
2 cloves garlic

Crispy fried soybean crumbs usually come in minced or granulated form. The granulated ones need to be mashed before using. Minced crispy fried soybean crumbs are easier to prepare.
Crispy fried soybean crumbs turn bad easily when in contact with moisture. Keep in the refrigerator when not in use.
To get a good fragrance from crispy fried soybean crumbs, you need to fry them for a while, Stir-fry evenly and make sure that the heat is not too high to prevent them from burning and turning bitter.
Seasonings
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar

Method
1. Chop the garlic. Wash cod fish and pat dry. Rub with salt and set aside for 10 minutes.
2. Transfer fish to a steamer and steam for 10 minutes.

After turning off the heat, leave the cooked cod fish in the steamer for a while. This gives the fish a better texture.
3. Heat 1 tsp of oil in a wok, fry chopped garlic until fragrant. Add crispy fried soybean crumbs and sugar. Fry till crispy fried soybean crumbs turn golden brown. Remove and pour over the fish. Serve.
